Very difficult to know how to take things across social media and blogs....hence exclamation marks/emoticons and the reason I very rarely add anything to the posts these days. I guess I am getting worn out with this sad world we live in......the fact that KB and his caddie can bow up to an "over 50", on a golf course, in front of television cameras confirms my fears that morals and etiquette are disappearing traits. What does age have to do with anything? And one argument on Tour caught on video every ten years means that etiquette is disappearing?
Hard to tell exactly how much anyone was in the wrong, but nobody seemed to be blameless.
If MAJ came over to see exactly what was going on with the drop and make sure he understood what was going on, he's certainly entitled to do that.
If he came over with a "you're wrong and let me tell you why" approach, I'm not surprised Bradley was upset. With a rules official right there MAJ needed to be sure he was right (and it doesn't sound like he was).
Not sure why the caddie felt he needed to get involved. If he was mocking MAJ's accent, definitely not appropriate.
Telling caddie to "shut up" not too classy from the "over 50", regardless of what caddie said.
Bradley not exactly looking to mend fences on the 18th green.
But these guys are such robots that golf has become dreadfully boring to watch. Might as well liven things up a bit.
