just another 0-3 tool.
and it looks to me like he DID tell his caddy to shut up (and in my opinion the caddie DID need to shut up as it was between Keegan, the official and Jimenez-who appeared quite calm the whole time-and has every right to monitor the drop)
Then Keegan puffed up like he was going to fight
and of course Jimenez won the match

I must say this has easily been the most interesting Friday on the PGA Tour in recent memory (not because of the argument)
Great format, lots of drama.
Three matches for players guaranteed (God forbid a player face a one and done)
I just about vomit every time I hear Sirius XM commentator John Maginnis say this week on air about match play "It's not how you play but WHO you play"
Of course HOW you play matters-and you only have to beat ONE guy.
Even Spieth was getting into the act acting like a child down the stretch, then commenting on how many under he was in a losing effort to Westwood.
Notes to Jordan-1.avoid practicing with American Ryder Cup "veterans"
2.if it were stroke play would you remind the world how many holes you won?
                       3. stop whining-the cameras are now on you-his post round interview was fine-more his on course demeanor

Billy Horschel looks like he would've fit right in on the American Ryder Cup team, though to be fair McIlroy came alive at the end.
That said Horshel has chances on 18 and #1 in overtime to win by simply getting up and down from just off the green

Keegan gets flustered and loses close pride battle to Euro Jimenez , Horschel as mentioned, and Bubba leaves it SHORT from 8 feet on 18 to lose to Louis Oosthuizen.
Once again the Americans demonstrate you can earn a great living finishing second, except in match play-even when they invent  a new way to play it.

Super cool.  On another thread, about the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay, http://www.golfclubatlas.com/forum/index.php/topic,60937.0.html, there's the Poulter tweet and other crap.  That had me thinking about pro wrestling.  It works as show biz because there're the good guys and the bad guys.  Pro golf's the same, it's entertainment.  We need guys to cheer for, and against.  Then this comes along, out of the blue.  Staged, like raslin'?  Don't know, but it's good for the PGA Tour.  We need more of this stuff.

Hey now, cool it before I tell your caddy to shut up. Once the recommendations from the US Ryder Cup task force come in, the Americans will win every meaningless match in this tournament.

But I bet MAJ would lay him out if things started to get a bit more serious. He ain't called The Mechanic for nothing.

Great hearing the Golf Channel experts freak out because The Mechanic used the words "shut up" to a caddie.
Having seen The Mechanic's warmup routine no doubt he wouldve put a can of whoop ass on Keegan.

In all the hyperventilating over a near fight, the fact is the rules official dropped the ball on this.. In the video you can see him muttering into his walkie-talkie while Bradley stepped to MAJ. I understand he is an official from the Australasian Tour...

The issue at hand was MAJ questioning Bradley - after taking relief from the stand (an immovable obstruction) - on how he he planned to take further relief from the cart path he dropped on.. Someone more expert in the rules would have to tell me whether taking relief after dropping onto a cart path is compulsory or not.. That seemed to be the bone of contention from a rules perspective...As it turned out he did take the further relief before playing (which was advantageous to his line of play).

MAJ seemed to think it was compulsory and came back to suggest how Bradley take further relief.. Since the Official was still phoning a friend, Bradley basically told him to mind his own business and then his idiot caddy chimed in, which escalated the situation. Hard to say how long all this had been going on, before MAJ walked back to Bradley's ball , but a rules official working a PGA Tour event should have the answer to this rules question on the tip of his tongue..

Bradley's caddy not only inappropriately inserted himself into the conversation, but borrowed a whole heap of problems for Bradley the rest of the PGA Tour season... Of course, Bradley is also a f__ing idiot for stepping to another professional golfer while on TV...

No doubt people will be trying to bait them for the next 12 months as soon as he steps on the first tee..

Bradley should be hoping he's NOT on the next Ryder Cup team because he will be roasted by the UK press from the moment he makes the team. During the matches he will be viewed about as favorably as Luis Suarez the next time he turns up to play at Old Trafford. Except this crowd will be literally on the field with him.

If Bradley does calm the hell down over the next year, I would not be surprised if a physical altercation ensues... The first step on that path is firing his dumb ass caddy.

As just explained on Golf Channel, MAJ's "shut up" was directed to Pepsi, Keegan's caddie, after Pepsi mocked MAJ's Spanish accent.

Both he and Bradley will be fined... With his 0-3 record for the week Bradley and his caddy basically played this event for free..

Thank you, Benjamin, for pointing this out. A fact that TGC seems to be ignoring.

MAJ did nothing wrong in this matter, from what I can tell. Bradley's caddy should be fired. The guy is a liability that will cost Bradley in the future.

First things first they never even came close to blows! Typical in today's world to over hype everything!!!! What on earth iwas a caddie doing getting involved in anything to do with the rules in the first place? It looks like Jimenez was actually trying to help not hinder......Keegan loses his composure and disrespects his elders......what's new these days?

I think you might be underestimating what Bradley's move could have caused with someone other than Jimenez, who was calm but persistent throughout the whole incident. If anyone stepped to me like that in that situation, they would get a shove... minimum.
