Naples Florida -- Any courses with a look?

I'm heading to Naples, Florida. Any courses within an hour drive that I should check out?

Lots of threads on Naples golf in the past few weeks. Start with a search.
Also, please be specific:

- do you have access to private courses? (Reciprocal season starts on May 1)
- what is your budget? (resort or daily fee?)
- will you be willing to stretch your travel radius?

Naples has an abundance of average golf courses, a spattering of really good courses and only a handful of excellent courses.

I missed this a few days ago. I recommend a run to Fort Myers Country Club. I really enjoyed the Steve Smyers renovation here. The green complexes are a lot of fun, and all of the par fives are a blast. Plus, it's super cheap and you can walk--two rarities in that part of the golfing world.

I've only played Naples National down there.  It is quite good and worth playing.

It's easier for me to think of the ones not to play. One that comes to mind is the Naples Beach hotel and golf. Old course, great location and a block from beach. Could be so much more with a good redo, but now looks like a rundown muni.
