The first thought that popped into my head when I saw the new CS hole was "Oh great, Jack went there and did a Muirfield Village on it".

Actually I think it looks like a lot of Pete Dye par 3s that he has built in Indiana in the last 20 years.  Plum Creek and Kampen each have holes either just like this or the mirror image of it.  It seems to be a favorite....

The latest edition of CS 17 looks dreadful. Never played it or the prior version but liked the old original. The green was severely pitched back to front as it laid naturally on a slope. It played more like an Eden in that respect.
Does anyone have a shot of CS 13? It played as a reverse redan. Remember it fondly as I holed a mid iron there as a kid.
