Don't forget Old Bandon Golf Links about 4 miles north of Bandon Dunes :)

It was south, and its gone.

Would hate to see the Sheep Ranch changed. It is pretty unique.

I happened to see Mike today and he said there was a misunderstanding on this statement.

There are no plans whatsoever to build a new course on Sheep Ranch.  He's focused solely on the land swap and working with Gil as well as Sand Valley.

Thanks for the inside scoop, Joel.  Methinks it's a good thing.

Thank you, Mr. Keiser, for all you've done to enhance our game, and our enjoyment of it.

Eventually there will be a "real" golf course at The Sheep Ranch, though as Joel says, it's not on the to-do list for Mike anytime soon.  I will be sorry to see it go; it was a really fun and simple/complicated project, and good practice for building the reversible course at Forest Dunes, as it turns out.

By coincidence I played at Royal Isabela in Puerto Rico today, and there is a par-4 that's almost a dead ringer for the hole that plays from C green to B green at The Sheep Ranch.  Same cliff, same size, same feel of thick vegetation [though the plants are all different here].
