Stewards of the land

Check this out   https://vimeo.com/104056569

Please don't take this as self promotion.  The video shows three Georgia golf courses and the excellent job the supts at these course do.  My Cateechee course along with Chris Cupit's Rivermont are both featured.  Buck Workman (  http://www2.gcsaa.org/gcm/2000/feb00/02southern.html)   is the supt at Cateechee and Mark Hoban  ( http://www.turfnet.com/blog/3/entry-608-chasing-rivermont/  )   Just saw it and thought would post on a rainy Sunday..

Thanks, Mike - a lovely video, and an effective one. Two things stood out for me: 1. Somehow I never realized how much work is needed to care for a couple of hundred acres of golf course, and 2. I deeply appreciate when golf courses in Georgia look like golf courses in Georgia (and Texas courses in Texas etc.)

Mike,
Thanks for the linkage.

Mac Plumart has been singing Rivermont's praises for a long time and the info supplied goes a long way to explaining why.

Cheers Colin
