Fazio in the Hamptons?
« on: March 18, 2015, 03:59:58 PM »
I happened to come across this post on a real estate blog today:

http://hamptons.curbed.com/archives/2015/03/18/what_do_you_think_about_the_hills_at_southampton.php

"The Hills at Southampton"...a quick google search yielded this picture with the Faz logo in the bottom right corner:

Article is here:

Anyone know anything about this?

Hopefully they can manufacture something good enough on the golf side to get people to want to build homes in and visit the hamptons

2017 to get a shovel in the ground.

Permission in the Hamptons is a bitch as always.

So some clubs get preference over others in Southampton?  Shocking.  Checked out proposed site on the map.
Looks like east of the airport and west of Sears Bellows park.  Lots of scrub pines and not much else.  Drainage
should be great.  When I first heard of proposal a few years back article mentioned Quogue, this is West Hampton.
I envision terrain similiar to Hampton Hills.  By the time all permits are approved it could be...who the hell knows?
