Brian,

I played it a while back. Pleasant enough for a quick knock round the course has potential to be improved from a GCA point of view. I would not make a trip out there extra but if your passing through then worth stopping. Hotel and restaurant were good too.

It is also known as Ballachulish

I designed the course at Dragon's Tooth, but they built their own greens and bunkers. So I'm not to blame for the flooded bunker on the video!

John's right in that you probably wouldn't drive out of your way to Ballachulish, but it is a joyous place for a quick game of golf in incredible scenery and it is a much valued community asset, run by people who are justifiably proud of their little course.

It was also voted 'The Best 9-hole course in Scotland' by Bunkered magazine, which is a pretty hefty accolade for such a young course.

Probably the best golf course name in the UK.
