I thought this was a good read from Golfweek.

In at least several of the cases the best way to use the word "matter" in describing them;
would be "what's the "matter" with golf"? ::) ::).

Pleasantly surprised to see Oxmoor Valley. This was my first golf trip as a big boy recent college grad and working stiff. i never thought of it as a significant design, although I did enjoy both courses. Brings back memories and sparked my passion for golf travel.

Jeff...

Perhaps...but they did matter...'cause they had an impact.

I love the impact Sand Hills had and Bandon, personally.

Those are two courses that matter-in a good way-agreed

I'm a little surprised that the list did not select either The Golf Club or Crooked Stick.

Ian...

I would have added The Golf Club too, but perhaps it super private nature kept it off the list.

Any others you all think should be considered?
