This is a very nice golf course.  Not too long by today's standards, but, nonetheless, a very enjoyable course.

Shivas:

Are you saying that it is a great "old man's course"?????? ???

Old man's course maybe, but the old man better be a putter!  Greens are crowned, countered and usually fast.  The game isn't reaching on this short course, it is staying on and getting down...fun to play

Old Elm is a delight. All male membership. Tiny, understated clubhouse; Ross' routing plan on the wall. Never more than three or four groups on the course at any one time (I haven't been there on a weekend). Always in excellent shape... Brian Silva redid all the bunkers there a few years back; restored some great cross bunkers... It's all very tasteful at Old Elm. Play it if you get the chance.
