Thornhill G & CC (Thompson)

I came across the following aerial while doing some research and was impressed by the original bunkering at Thornhill G & CC, a 1922 Stanley Thompson design in Vaughn, Ontario.  The bunkering on the east side of the golf course does not appear to have the same flare and future aerials show a deterioration of the west side as well.  I don't know much about the history of the course or the quality of the land it sits upon, but thought I'de share the aerial with the group.

1962 aerial of course

18th at Thornhill in 1933

If anyone knows how to size images, please give the code and I'll size it down.

Thank you Frank

btw, that's Uplands by Stanley Thompson to the north (nine holes remain now).
The connections to well know Canadian golfers are surprisingly very deep.

Thornhill has both original work and some significant changes.

I've posted modern photos of both Thornhill and Uplands on GCA for those interested...
