TOC circa 1768 when it had 22 holes, the last hole ending roughly where the Old Tom Morris shop is now located.

1860 Prestwick, although it might have been better to wait 10 years and play with the wee lad as well.
A combination of whats good for golf and good for turf.

The course I grew up on before they planted a single tree.   How I wish you guys could have played it.  It was a GCA darling.

    Maybe a GCA play day at the course to raise money for tree removal?  Do they know what they have done and just don't have the money to correct tree issues?
