Speaking of which, is there anything more nauseating than that show.
What exactly is the jump suited caddie doing?-directing traffic on those freeway width paths? ??? :-[ :'(

The Haney camp can't be feeling too great right about now

But seriously, I sometimes like reading about places i can't play... EVER.

Other times I hate reading about them.

Maybe I need meds.

Chicks?

How did I miss out on the chicks bit?

Where were the chicks at KP? Are some of you really cross dressers? Anthony posts pictures with his shirt off. How about the rest of you? Can you prove you're not cross dressers too?

Isn't that sad?  Not the fact that Ken likes reading about places he'll never be able to play (don't we all), but the fact that there are courses (some of the greatest in the world!) out there that he (and the rest us GCA nuts) will NEVER get an opportunity to play, or even see...breaks my heart.

I'm trying to find a good analogy, but I can't...diehard Red Sox fan being denied access to Fenway?  Lifelong art nut being denied access to the Mona Lisa and other great pieces?  Are there any similar circumstances for other things which people are so passionate about?  Lack of access to private art collections for the previously mentioned person might actually be a good analogy...Regardless, it is the unfortunate fate of this game and its venues we're all so passionate about.

I apologize for the off topic post, I'm not trying to thread hijack!

To get back on topic:  knowledge and the opportunity to meet great people who share a common interest/passion are my two favorite things about GCA.com.

Cheers,
George

Hey, I look at National Geographic and Playboy for the same reason ... beautiful color pictures of places I will never, ever visit! ;)

Joking aside, if this website does anything well, it's to identify exceptional courses beyond the likes of Pine Valley and Cypress, that most of us can play.

Leatherstocking in Central New York is an example -- really fine course that gets overlooked by many.

Excellent post. Without this site I would have never gone Wine Valley. What a treat that place was. The best bunkering I have ever seen, aestethically and placement. Also Walla Walla is a really neet town. vineyards and very modern resteraunts.

There is a lot of discussions about GCA and how to improve it, the quality of some posts and Rans request to be "Best of Breed".

As someone new I'm personally enjoying it and learning.  Please list your favorite aspects of GCA.com

Happy New Year.

Just to be perfectly clear, I'm not interested in a "hookup" with you Terry.
