Is golf a great game or what!
« on: November 26, 2018, 01:47:01 PM »
Part of the enjoyment of travel is meeting new friends. Recently I hosted a couple of 22 year olds at The European Club. They hosted me at Portmarnock. What other game could two young fellows who hit the ball 100 yards past a 71 year old enjoy their time together? Is this a good game or what?

We all have stories of meeting guys and striking up long time friendships. Heck, I even like some of you knuckleheads.

By how many strokes did you beat them?
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

They beat me like a drum. One shot 71, the other 74. I barely broke 80 and I was up a tee on most holes.I t wasn't as bad as the drubbing Mich took from OS. That must have brought a smile to your face.
