Played SP on Friday.  Blown away... like I am every time I play there.  So good.

Played Southern Pines on Friday and reaffirmed what I believe to be true... it is simply the best!  Mid Pines might be more aesthetically pleasing with the recent renovations, but I think SP is the better course... better piece of property, better routing, better collection of golf holes, etc.  I truly love SP, MP and PN but if I could only play one course in the entire Pinehurst area for the rest of time I would play golf at Southern Pines!  Every time I am fortunate to play there I can't help but imagine the "what if's"... the potential is limitless.

Love it!

Here is the current view to the left of the 5th hole. Below that is what you could see. Below that is a hi-rez version of the possible view - you can scroll back and forth to see the whole thing.

Are you showing that to suggest a change or just to show the changes in the landscape that can't be seen because of the trees.

BTW I liked the changes the proposed on the first page of the thread in regard to 6, 15, & 18.
