Goodreads.com has over 30 million users and over 34 million reviews.  LibraryThing.com has over 1.8 million users and over 90 million books cataloged.  I am the only person on Goodreads to review the book and I am the only person on LibraryThing who owns the book.  Am I the only one on here who owns it as well or are there others?

I received a copy of the book for being part of the program.  There's quite a bit of interesting stuff in it, though it's a bit disjointed.

The drawings of greens at Crystal Downs are fascinating for how little they reflect the actual greens.

I've got both. The book actually is quite interesting, the documentary not. Loved the story of how quickly Bobby Weed staked Olde Farm.

Echoing Mark's comments, the book is pretty good and worth owning. Skip the documentary.

I have a copy, but then, I have a copy of just about every architecture book there is.  As TD states, a bit disjointed, as you would expect talking about many different architects and their stories.

I was asked to participate, but they required a hand drawing of a golf hole I had designed.  Having transferred to CAD, and thrown out most old sketches, I declined to put in special effort to be included.

Exactly.  I did a triple take on the image of the 12th green on the cover when I picked up the book and at first thought it might be mislabeled image of the 7th, which it isn't.

The book is cheap and well worth getting and has almost no relationship to the TV documentary.  Its basically Cupp and Whitten discussing various architects.
