Andy, My guess is Interlachen , like WBYC , Skokie, Oakland Hills, and Beverly are some of the more popular Ross designs in the Midwest. For those of us who live here , we have played each of these several times. Exploring outside your locale was kind of my point in starting the thread. I consider myself pretty well traveled and yet there are probably 100 more Ross designs I hope to play in my life. Just my perspective .

White Bear should probably be on the list of 10 Watson Designs on Your Wish List. 

Perhaps we need a thread on the 10 Ross Remodels on Your Wish List, or in the case of Skokie, the 10 Ross Remodels that were subsequently improved by Langford & Moreau.

You guys may be right, but I think some posters just looked at the other lists and picked 10 that looked interesting. Since Interlachen wasn't listed to begin with, it wasn't chosen later either. Just my theory, unless it is that much easier to get on (or less appealing) than WBYC and Northland, both of which were listed at least a few times.
