Golf course density

What country, or large geographical region anyway (e.g. Great Britain), has the largest course density in the world? Not total course count, but density.

This here says it's Singapore followed by England...

...But it also says that Scotland has the largest number of courses per capita which isn't true.... Iceland wins that one...

Bermuda has always claimed that "title" as far as I know. Not "large" however.

I believe in Britain, which is obviously near the top of the list in its own right, Merseyside wins.

Doc. In the US it may be: Myrtle Beach. Phoenix and Chicago or NYC metro area.

Forgot about Naples, FL and Collier County where there are over 200 courses all packed together.
Sadly, only 4-5 worth playing.
