I like Sean's suggestions - I always do (when they relate to golf, I should add).
I agree that there is good golf to be found under the radar in East Anglia. We know of RW Norfolk, Hunstanton and R Worlington, but I would recommend to anyone visiting the area also to consider King's Lynn, Sheringham, R Norwich, Gt Yarmouth, Aldeburgh, Ipswich, Feklixstowe Ferry, Rushmere, Woodbridge, Thorndon Park, Gog Magog. Different styles of courses but no shortage of interest. I'm sorry to say that R Cromer doesn't excite me, other than those holes late in the round up on high ground beside the lighthouse. A friend's mother was Lady Captain at Eaton (Norwich) and speaks very highly of it. I've also heard good reports of Diss, but I have no personal experience of either.
