Kye Goalby 2014 Interview
« on: July 28, 2014, 08:08:04 AM »
After I sent Kye my usual nine questions (his answer to number nine is, in the words of Sterling Archer, Classic Kye) and he sent back his answers, I took a look at Ran's two-part interview in 2010 with the lad (http://golfclubatlas.com/feature-interview/kye-goalby-april-2010 and http://golfclubatlas.com/feature-interview/kye-goalby-may-2010).

Ran's is a thorough and complete interview, while mine is a cute, stuffed animal that has a few pictures from this year. That assessment aside, I hope there is some value in this 2014 interview with Kye: http://wp.me/p20nYT-2Kr

(Totally aside, Kye, you could never be confused with the pithiest interview subject. That goes, without fail nor clamor, to Buddy Marucci here: http://www.golfclubatlas.com/feature-interview/buddy-marucci-august-2009/)

Just played a Langford design renovated by Kye Goalby last year - St Clair Country Club. This is the Goalby's home course in Belleville Illinois.

I hope to post some pictures as soon as I figure out how

Does anyone know the name of the Langford course in Wisconsin that he will be working on? I am currently a member of a old Langford course in Wisconsin, but thought I would of known at this point if they were planning renovation work. Still his short description of the club in the interview is pretty in line with my club so I'm curios.
