Given the recent historical preference for technical solutions, and if we presume firm and fast is the best, with similar fw and green conditions for consistency, its the only conclusion I could come up with for the top 100 courses to pursue in their pursuit of consistent perfection.
We have already seen sand based approaches and chipping areas. Why not go the whole fw so tee shots roll out as the architect presumed?
And once the top 100 do it, the next 2-300 can't be far behind.
