Decent idea. Then maybe we wouldn't have to watch players lining up putts for 3 minutes, and we could see some shots.

The drawback I see is from the competitor's perspective: You can't watch the guy or gal in front of you make birdie to put the heat on. Or, you hear a roar from the crowd somewhere up ahead: "F%&K! FIGJAM just dropped another bomb to tie me...or was that one of the women?"

We dont get to see enough great courses as it is. Why eliminate more? The women should take advantage of being able to play shorter classic courses that the men cant anymore. How about a womens major on Cypress Pt, SFCC, LACC or Pine Valley?
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.
