Olympia Fields
« on: June 22, 2014, 08:41:45 PM »
This weekend I made my first visit to Chicago....today I feel fortunate to have played Olympia Fields. I truly enjoyed to today and would put it in the category of "exceeding my expectations" which is always a fun experience.
I can't go into details of what I thought was so good about it as I am tired! The course is long as it rained two inches yesterday and it was hot and humid and we walked. Needless to say I have many photographs and no clue how to put them on this forum! In fact I have hundreds of golf course photos and no comprehension of how to put them  up.
I didn't think there was a weak hole on the course and hope to get back one day to have a second crack at it which I always think is important.

Thank you. I seem to remember opening a couple of image hosting sites and being unsuccessful due to my lack of attention with computers...it would probably cost a fortune but would be great if we could upload like Facebook or Twitter for computer illiterates like myself!  Great course still!!!!!!

image shack gives you x amount of photos or x amount of time to upload your photos.  I think it was $20 for life when free trial expired.

Guessing you only played the North Course, as the facility does have 36 holes.

The South shouldn't be missed.

Sven, we did play the north as the south and range were closed due to wetness! The members we played with said the south is also a very good golf course. There were so many good golf holes on the north, my only hope is to play it when it is not soggy in the future.
