Persimmon Ridge in Louisville is not only a fun course but it's only a few miles from Valhalla.

On Kygolf.org witch is the site for the KGA there is a link at the bottom of the main page for the pga Champ. In there you will find a list and contact info for clubs that will be allowing play during that week. Off that list there are 3 privates that have been mentioned already. Big Spring, Harmony landing, and Hurstbourne . I would look into playing these.

To add on to Donovan, I hear good things about Audubon, and will be playing there later this year in the Mid-Am.  If around Lexington Greenbrier is also a solid option.  Heck, I am tempted to jump on a few of these myself.  Also, Indian Springs is on the list and closed earlier this year.  Don't call them.  And if they were open, I would also say don't call them....

You know, for my new radio show, I really ought to do a segment on Kentucky Golf right5 before the PGA Championship!  If any of you pros out there want to be on it, IM me directly! Thanks for all the input!
