Count me in for whatever team needs players. Also, Mike Heisterkamp, esteemed golf professional at nearby Chagrin Valley CC, would like to play as well.
2016 Highlights:  Streamsong Blue (3/17); Streamsong Red (3/17); Charles River Club (5/16); The Country Club - Brookline (5/17); Myopia Hunt Club (5/17); Fishers Island Club (5/18); Aronomink GC (10/16); Pine Valley GC (10/17); Somerset Hills CC (10/18)

I am planning on flying in on Friday morning and will be looking for a place to play that day. If anyone has any suggestions or would like to get together, shoot me an email.

Isn't the West 4-0?  We may have to throw you guys a ringer or two just to keep this thing interesting.  As it stands it's verging dangerously on President's Cup territory.

Jud,

You may want to tread lightly...this time the West is heading deep into enemy territory.

If anyone would like a bookend place to play, please DM me. I can host you at Silver Lake Country Club (30 minutes south near Akron) on either Friday or Monday.

It's one of Larry Packard's earliest (maybe first) 18 hole designs.  True hidden gem if you ask me....but I'm a bit biased.

Unfortunantly I'd only be available to play on Sunday, but may make an appearance for dinner.

Ok someone had to give me an inkling of where the Mason-Dixon Line stands. I see Josh Tarble on the East and I am a touch confused ???

Usually the Illinois-Indiana border is the dividing line. The venue keeps moving further east, despite the Western dominance. If this keeps up, the 2020 Mashie will be held at Mission Hills in China.

Jud,

Because being in East territory three other times proved to be so troublesome.

I would like to play, but if it runs out of room I do not have to play so someone else can play a wonderful course.  Thank you Bill and George and the Canterbury membership!

I am in if you need one.   However, living 30 minutes away and having played it multiple times, I would be fine with letting someone experience it.

There'd better be room. The East Team has never quite had enough players who hit every shot straight and solid. There will be a long line of people wanting to play as your fourball teammate. Consider me the first person in it.

Why should either of those be considered a laudable criterion?
