Terry, I know that he may not be too popular in the area, so I'd be reluctantly willing to take one for the team if you need someone to pair with hizzoner.
I'll find a suitable foil for our Hizzoner.
In looking for a suitable wisenheimer photo to junk up the Judge's post, I found this fairly interesting bit of Chicago golf history, and intersection of GCA historical material with 'machine politics'. As always, indictments ensued as the story played out. http://forgottenchicago.com/features/edgewater-golf-club/I don't know if Dan Moore included this one in his excellent series of old Chicagoland golf club aerials some time back>
By any chance, might there be room for a newbie?
Or an early round at Ridge CC, located a few miles from the Bev. Known locally as the Tavern With the Nice Backyard, it's a good combo. The Bev-Ridge.

Best keep me out of the foursome as I'll likely ask why he never had the balls to see "Hizzoner", which I co-produced:http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/26/theater/26mayn.html?_r=0
