We drive 50 miles for groceries out West. I’m a homer, Canyon Springs. A close second is Blue Lakes CC next door in the same spectacular Snake River Canyon. Both are sand based on undulating terrain, but very different in culture and conditioning. CS is public and not as quirky as the private BLCC. Both are short and affordable. I live and work at CS, so not much objectivity. Come on down. Twin Falls, Idaho. I guess both are modern, but since both evolved as affordable courses, over 40 to 50 years, there's some quirky features.
