Wow. Over the weekend there was an ace by César Monasterio on the 394 yard #10 (usually #1, they flipped 9s for the tournament) at La Reunion in Guatemala at a PGA Tour Latinoamerica event!

I've played the course and yes, it's a downhill hole.

Has it never been done? I'm very surprised at that (tho I probably shouldn't comment since unfortunately I've never played the course  However, a friend of mine has knocked it on the green a dozen times or so in his time at the University. . .

I don't know the answer to that. I do know that Paul Azinger 4-putted for bogey on Friday of the Open one year to miss the cut by 1.

Great photo…love the view from the hammock.  I've never played in Guatemala or any of Central America for that matter.  How was the rest of the course?
