Course Design wing at World Golf Hall of Fame
« on: March 11, 2014, 05:17:55 PM »
I've never been to the Hall of Fame --- for those of you who have, is their wing/section on the history of design/architecture interesting?

I've always felt like golf course design could sustain a small -- but really good -- museum of its own, or would deserve a lot of emphasis in the current hall.  But it strikes me as something that might get short-changed in favor of celebrating more obvious/fan friendly achievements, such as the majors, etc.

Ba-da-boom!

Really, the best idea would be an online museum. Hey, such as this web site, which covers most aspects of the art and science.

Really, the best idea is to preserve examples of superior architecture like the Old Course...
