Jim - just found it interesting because that is not why he picked his first two architects.
I agree with Tom and Pat above though. When you find something that works why change. And, he most likely went out of the box the first time around because he didn't the types of courses currently being produced by architects with top 100 courses.
I find it interesting mostly in terms of thinking would I do the same thing if I had that much money.
