I love Bay Harbor...those who don't can sock it, big time.

That would be me. The worst overpriced, overrated completely forgettable use of reclaimed property ever.  But it is close to Petoskey.

I really enjoy the links 9 but I do think the Quarry is a bit odd.  You must admit that the 19th hole is a nice place for a beverage or bite to eat.  There are deals where you can play 36 holes for $120 or $50 for 18 so that's hard to beat at that price point.  I would not pay $199 to golf it at their normal rate.

Really, Yer Honor? Don't like that rising par five along the water's edge, nor that short par four just before, that dares you to drive the green? Not a fan of that little par three that clings to the cliffs above Petoskey, with kick-plate that brings balls left right, onto the putting surface? And that's just the one, nine-hole stretch (although the 9th is not my favorite hole, I'll admit.)

Best New Course Played: Sand Hills  Runner Up: Ballyneal
Best Course on a Return Visit. Ballyneal
Most Challenging Course Played: Dismal River White
Most Surprising New Course Played: Ballyneal
Best Round: 73 at TPC Louisiana
Worst Round: Don't remember plenty around 90
Most Memorable Stroke: 8 iron into #2 top right pin at Sand Hills- no margin for error.  Got it on the shelf but missed putt
Best Drink on a Golf Trip: Bloody Mary's at Fallen Oak
Best Golf Trip: Eastern CO and The Sand Hills of Nebraska- best trip ever
Best Score on a Hole -1 NO EAGLES THIS YEAR although I missed 2 putts from under 10' on the same hole this year for Eagle- #7 Ballyneal
Most Comfortable Bed on a Golf Trip: Dismal River
Best Meal at a Golf Club: Lobster Tail at Dismal Steaks were great too
Most Disapointing Course Fallen Oaks - too soft
Best Halfway House Dismal River White
Best hole I played all year Sand Hills #2 tie Harbor Shores #7
Best Greens Sand Hills
Best Golfing Weekend trip two trips to Ballyneal in a three week span with my 9 year old one weekend and my 8 year old the next

Best new course played -- Pacific Dunes
Best course on return visit -- Arcadia Bluffs
Most challenging course played -- Oak hill east - month after the PGA championship
Most surprising new course -- Both Streamsongs  -- didnt know Florida golf could be fast and hard
Best Round  -- 77 at Streamsong  Blue and Sand Hollow
Worst Round -- bad at Sara Bay - Ross original greens- tough
Most Memorable stroke -- Putting from about 50 feet away at Oak Hill West for birdie
Best food at Clubhouse -- Chili at Salem CC
Best Golf trip -- playing Pacific Dunes, Bandon Dunes, Chambers Bay , Pasatiempo and Olympic Club in same week on family vacation
Most Disappointing course -- Wolf Creek - too gimicky
Best Greens - Pacific Dunes and Bandon Dunes --rained all 36 holes and never slowed the greens down
