2013 Photos - B Sides
« on: December 11, 2013, 09:57:38 PM »
Eric Smith normally does this....but since he's currently in Central America hunting great white sharks and marlins with spotty internet access, he suggested that I start this thread for 2013.

Sven's thread is the real thread for best photo and this one is for all the extras.  No prizes or awards will be given out but that doesn't mean you can't show everyone the rest of your best shots right here.  So get after it!

Mark -

Please do what Jonathan did and put the name of the course above the picture. You played so many places it is hard to keep track.

Cory,

Thanks for the pic of Milwaukee.  It was somewhere I always wanted to play until now.

Ok, then I nominate Eric in his absence for my favorite personal shot of the year. :-)

Out of an impossible lie, under the branch over the tall rough, banked off the side of the green and ending just long, up and down for par. Plus I called it in advance and didn't know Eric was standing behind me with the camera. He was just saying come on partner, this is all you.

We won't talk about the shot that got me there in the first place being unrealistically greedy.

David,
There is an excellent photo on one of the 2013 Buda threads where someone is playing a shot one-handed and backwards from a steep very grassy bank at the rear of a green on a links course. I've tried to find it via the search engine but haven't been able to locate it.
All the best

Padraig - LOVE that pic of Cork GC - it's long been on my must play list in Ireland. Maybe this Xmas or should I leave it til Summer?

Brian, you should play it both in Winter and Summer and compare and contrast the differences! If you're looking to play over Christmas, let me know, I should be around.
