Jasper Park Golf Club, Alberta, Canada, par-5, 10th (aka'Maze'): Slow play

Cypress Point, par-3, 16th: My buddy waited his entire life for this swing on this hole.  It's the one swing he will always remember.  No matter what his form (which isn't bad), any golfer in the world would happily trade places with him in this instant because, right then, the 16th was his.

Another from The Gallery Golf Club, North Course, Tucson, Arizona, on the same day. The par-4, 1st looked like a watercolor as we approached the green late in the afternoon.

Sewailo Golf Club, near Tuscon, Arizona,  par-4, 18th: Here is another from last week...Notah Begay's new course, shot here from behind the volumnous waterfall.

Pebble Beach, California, the par-5, 6th: A golfing outpost at the edge of a continent on a typically windy  summer California day.

Silvertip Golf Club, Canmore, Alberta, Canada, par-4, 10th:  I'm not a big fan of putting people in golf shots, but for scale, this one needed it.

ASU Karsten, Phoenix, Arizona, par-3, 16th:   Is this agony, ecstasy, or both?

Richmond Country Club, Richmond, California, 1st hole: My home course one evening last October.

Richmond Country Club, Richmond California,   Same hole.

Pretty cool. How'd you get so many people with such nice swings? I also like the wedding dress story.

Thanks, Stewart.

Stories like the wedding dress are what I do when they leave me alone to shoot and report, which is not often these days. Usually, it's first block.  Check out the story about the movie theater. That was a good one, too.

As for the swings...have most of the angles of that course down cold, but this was to become a 30 second commercial, so we chose them based on talent and looks. TC, the guy, kicked my butt in a match last year, so I was more than intimately familiar with his form. Glo, the woman, is a former college player who worked at the club. She is a truly attractive woman.

From there, I just framed them in proven shots and had them swing away. That spot is all natural sound until the last five seconds when an announcer says, "Richmond Country Club." We wanted i to be a surprise. Most people have heard of our place and never seen it. RCC is hardly a great course, but it is pleasant. Wanted them to look at it, wonder what club it is, and then surprise them. The second time, they look more closely. The third, some even call. It has been successful...one member's  volunteer effort for his club.

There are more videos. I wrote (but did not cut) the history piece, and shot, wrote and read the testimonial. Also shot all the photos in the course tour on the site.   It has been a project.

Have never been a big fan of putting people in golf photos, especially close-ups because styles change, causing pictures to become dated (until much later, when they become historic). But this is a favorite and it is someone you know, Noel Freeman at Pebble Beach, this year, on the 5th, I believe. Just one golfer, in a quiet moment, alone on a famous course.

I have to admit this is also one of my favorites.  Even without the moose its a very interesting shot with the clouds and the way the color all works together.

I applaud everyone for the pictures.  Obviously some are better than others and some are very over exposed and worked to death that it takes away from the natural beauty.

Bullwinkle and I are not intimate (even though I live just hours south of him, in the home state of Frostbite Falls), but I'm pretty sure that's no moose.

It was a joke. So far no one has correctly named the animal as an elk, so either they don't know, or they were joking too.
