When did Lafayette close? Economy to blame?

I guess those #14s are photogenic. I meant to wander over to the West during PGA week and shoot a lot of holes, but forgot.

#4 feels pretty Tillinhghasty to me, but having trouble placing it.

#7 looks great, but don't think I've played it.

#21 - is that Bethpage Yellow #14?

#26 - is this at Khaluhyat?  Looks like the downhill par 4 (#16?)

Funny, I was going to guess the 8th on Bethpage blue for #4, but now that you say 18 and I see the rough before the fairway picks up again, I think you must be right.

3, 7, 13, 24 are all that remain before I unleash the final nine holes.

3 is one to which Kevin has alluded in earlier comments.
7 is from a neat course that happens to be the place where I first golfed with Mr. Hartford himself, Tim Martin.
13 is part of a quintet, although it initially existed separately.
24 was nearly named, so you're not that far off.

Final 9 will go up around noon today/Monday the 9th of the 12th. They have a decided WNY flavor.

I'm guessing that #13 must be Bethpage Green, but I don't know the hole. You've got #4 up as hole 4, but it's 18.

#24 was "nearly named?"  As in "near" Khaluhyat?  I'm thinking that may be #6 at Shenandoah.

Sad to hear that Lafayette Hills closed...not sure how much Tillie remained, but it was fun the one time I made it there.

More mismanagement than the economy for LaFayette: http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/05/lafayette_hills_country_club_s.html . The conditions were really poor the last few years as well. A sad fall from a nice private club.

I wandered around the West course during the PGA. Love that course. So many great holes.
