My daughter Rose ends her college career with the Illinois Wesleyan Titans with a hug from her coach, Kathy Niepagen, at the Division 3 Nationals in Destin, Florida, after stiffing a mid-iron to about 4 feet and rolling in the birdie putt.

I can be very forgetful, but won't be forgetting that sequence anytime soon.

There were tears in all of our eyes. A great moment, to end a great experience.

Since someone else started the son’s photos, this is my 6 year old last week here in Kansas before winter set in.  He is already able to hit a driver that is almost as long as he is tall, which probably means that he will be a much golfer than I will ever be.  

The significance of this photo and some of my Kansas GCA brethren can attest to, is that this 9 hole stretch was the last round that he and his brother got to ride in a cart.  We took advantage of a 2 for 1 sale on True Padwans and from here on out they are walking with their old dad and friends.....

12th hole at Ballyneal this October. Has to be one of my favorite pictures. It's hard to believe looking at it that it was 40° F and about 40 mph winds the day I played it.

Let me first apologize for multiple photos. This might go against protocol, but I had some images I wanted to share of the 2013 Walker Cup at National Golf Links of America. It was a very special event for everyone involved, including myself! I hope you all made it out to watch, but if you didn't, here are some images of the week.

My favorite pic of the week: After all the kids went back to school, Justin Thomas had nowhere to go since he was turning professional. I saw him sneaking around the windmill and this gem popped up on Twitter a few hours later. He is one of very few to ever climb all the up the windmill!

I think one of the common themes among my pictures (since I usually take them during rounds) is that they're either great at the beginning of the round or at the end of it. Not much of a surprise but I should start asking to take photos after rounds rather than doing it during.

I really liked the pictures from NGLA a lot. I was out there for the practice round and the place is even better than advertised. I hope to be back someday.
