Do Not Cross The JAKA

I came across this review on my lunch break today and couldn't help but laugh at the acronym for the secret police in this fictional Eastern European nation.

The weirdest thing about it is that agents are colloquially known as "Barneys."

And their 'cover' is just pure genius -- they pose (and actually generate income) as major paving contractors servicing government contracts in at least 3 states. To quote Sean Connery in The Untouchables, when he believes Ness' assertion that he's a Treasury Agent: "Who would claim to be that who wasn't?"

I'm not sure what is more frightening, finding myself in some Eastern European hellhole held hostage by a herd of obese, unbathed grunting swine with terminal halitosis, or lost in the bowels of Rust Belt Indiana with the choice of fleeing to Hillbilly Appalachia or working on a chain gang with Barny holding the whip.
