« on: November 13, 2013, 08:55:08 PM »
I know there have been quite a few, but I wanted to post anyways.  Two photos per hole...

Oh, this is gonna be good.

Thanks, Mark. Of all Tom's courses (none of which I've seen except on this site), the two I'd want to play first are Ballyneal and Old Macdonald. I'm glad the latter is getting the Saltzman treatment. (Only thing better is if Sean Arble had played it too, and then I'd get "Arble and Mark" treatment!)

I like Mark a lot and I'm sure I'd like Sean as well, but this is getting vomitorious. Forget the Doak B-Buddies; now we have the Saltzy and Arble B-Buddies association hanging out its shingle and open for business.

Mark;
Cudos to you on the third of your posted photos of Old Mac......the last one that depicts the first hole.

Believe me, I have seen ALOT of photos (and taken a few) of this place, as I work and play here, and pretty much eat it all up, and that one photo stands out!

a wonderfully artistic rendition of the difficult to appreciate first green.

Thanks,
Tom

Great pics - thank you....!

Just love the third hole... great drive with the best marker ever and then some serious cambers en route to the huge, rolling green. Perfect.

Thanks for the photo tours, Mark (and others).  Believe it or not, there are some of us out there who haven't yet had the opportunity to visit Bandon (along with many other courses that are the subject of photo tours on GCA).  These photos make me anxious to get out to Bandon at some point in the next few years.

Arguably underrated at #45 on Golf Magazine US IMHO.

The course looks awesome. Defiantly on my list to play! I love how the Biarritz looks so subtle from the teeing ground and then so dramatic up close.  Do you get this impression when playing the hole?  I think its a neat feature if that is the case!

Literally spine tingling. Thanks Mark!

Stunning indeed - thanks again, Mark.

The sky looks different off the Oregon coast than it does off GB&I, and the scale of the North American coastal landforms differs as well (in keeping with the relative sizes of the two 'continents'). Seems like a template course totally at home in its particular surrounding.

Another super course photo tour. Thank you Mark. Very envious of folk on the West Coast. If only Bandon were closer....

I play this course in my mind as I go to sleep each night. Loved the long shot of Saharah and Hogs Back.

Mark, spectacular photos.  IMO your best ever.

I take it you're going to give us commentary on the courses at some point?

Three shots per hole, minimum. Two ain't 'nough.

Other than that, not sure which impresses me more~your courses-per-hour-in-the-day ratio or the angles you found to nail this course.
