It's in Lake Wales Florida, about 45 mintues to an hour outside of Orlando.  Very nice place.

The best of any modern course I've had the pleasure of playing is Victoria National.
Enter the housing grounds ungated to a gated entry to the course from which two houses are visable looking back from the tenth tee. That's it period.
VN reeks of golf played here and oh by the way we have some housing if you want.
The place is a labor of love by the developer Terry Freidman that caters to the walker and every tee demands a commitment to the shot or else. Anyone playing the wrong tees will be in for a very bad day.
