GM Position in the Northwest
« on: November 07, 2013, 11:29:36 PM »
I hope this is appropriate to post here.  Our 1919 AV Macan course in the Seattle area is looking for a new GM.  There is currently some pretty good momentum to right the architectural wrongs of the last few decades.  We have a world class Pro and a talented young Superintendent....just need someone to round out the team.  Our last few had no clue about golf, let alone classic golf course architecture.  If anyone is interested or has advice of who to talk to, let me know via post or message.  Cheers everyone.

Should be lots of candidates in this era.  We just hired an assistant GM from Charlotte CC, a terrific club, as our GM.  Hopefully you will find one who is as interested in the golf course as the loser F&B operation.

Maybe Bill can tell you the name of the guy that brought in Dan Hixson to do some work at Bill's brother's course in Creswell, OR. The guy has club management experience and is a PGA pro.
