Dyker Beach GC and Google Streetview

Was just mucking around with Google Maps for NYC and saw Dyker Beach GC in Brooklyn.

Often with a golf course you can get a look from an adjoining road on Streetview, so I dragged the orange man off his perch and lo and behold, a good portion of the golf course turned blue!

I can only dream of how great it would be to have that kind of continguous photo mapping of great golf courses.

I happened to be at a presentation by the Google Maps people a few months back and told them they should get into this. Either they took my advice, or (far more likely) it was already in the works at some level.
