Golf Carts Torched in Morton Grove(Chicago Burb)

At The Chick Evans Golf Course - A Cook Co Forest Preserve Track, 45 carts were torched on Monday night. Investigators say the fire was no accident. Anyone know the whereabouts of Melvyn?:) Looks like the work of a disgruntled caddy! :)

Ah, Chick Evans, the poor man's Glen View Club. I miss the cement tee boxes and knocking it on 18 with my Dad's old Bullseye putter (180 yard par-3 over the river!).

It was probably the Harris Golf Cart salesman who was down on his annual quota.

This should end the Philly V Chicago debate once and for all.

While we may not have nice buildings, yes forget about Independence Hall, we certianly don't burn golf carts at the stake. Yes we may toss battery filled snowballs at them, especially if Santa is in them. But no wonton holliganism abounds in the City of Brotherly Love.
