The Valliere Course at Morfontaine
« on: September 17, 2013, 02:18:43 PM »
I just returned from playing the 27 holes at Morfontaine yesterday.  It was among the most enjoyable days at a club I have ever had.  If they only had the main course to play, it would be fantastic.  The older Valliere course is such an amazing compliment to the main course.  If the main course had such contours on the greens wouldn't it be too much?  The fact that it is used as it is, an afternoon playground after a fantastic lunch, makes it amazing and makes for an amazing day out.  Are there other clubs that exist with such a unique ensemble?
