Below are before and after photos of the par 4 1st and 5th holes.
The 1st hole hopefully depicts the more natural look of the course. Less manipulation of the ground features and a gradual move to the right and the green complex, which now does not have the huge mound guarding its left side.
And here is the 5th hole. The lake is now gone replaced by a large dune. Once the fescue has grown in on the hill, the hole should have a pretty compelling look. The green has been lowered considerably, allowing for ocean views through the trees in the back.
