# of courses per architect?
« on: August 13, 2013, 09:14:23 PM »
I noticed Ted Sturges's post earlier, and I had also found the GOLF stats interesting. What I found interesting was comparing the actual number of courses the architects were credited with rather than the ratios. Does anybody have numbers of courses designed by any of the Golden Age architects handy? I would assume the most accurate way would be breaking it up into original designs and restorations. I have a copy of The Architects of Golf, but in looking at MacKenzie's credits in particular I get somewhat frustrated because it seems incomplete.  Any input would be appreciated.

I think with most of the old dead guys it's a bit of a moving target in terms of what the now get credit for but din't previously and vice versa. In terms of MacKenzie, Neil Crafter could best give you the running total.
