Copy of MacKenzie's Golf Architecture Available

My local Half Price Books had a nice copy of Mac's "Golf Architecture" so I picked it up, thinking someone on this site would like a copy cheaper than it might be available elsewhere.  Cost is $9.99 plus shipping.  Contact me if you are interested.

Good find.  Reminds me of the time I found a copy of The Confidential Guide at Half Price Books at the same $10 price.

Tim,

I was a reverse benefactor to half price books once.  I had three copies of Whitten's "The Golf Course" and decided to give one away here, keep one, and sell one to HPB.  I mistakenly took one of my autographed copies - not only Cornish and Whitten, but about 100 other architects, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer included.

Someone bought a book that was a lot more than they bargained for!

Niall Hay was the first to respond and I will be sending him the book shortly......no autographs in this one, I checked!

In contrast, PBA Galleries are selling a first edition copy of Golf Architecture in its rare dustwrapper and inscribed by Mackenzie - the ultimate edition. They are estimating $6-9000  :o
