Would love to but I'm in Ireland that weekend. Keep me in the loop if you're looking to make another trip down there. I've long wanted to check out that area...

Brian,

Fancy extending your stay and heading up to Mayo for the Tuesday?

Sean , would love to but cant do it - just back from the family hol and will be heading out again at the end of the month.

Next time!

Brian, you get my mail? It was late last night when I picked my mails... I was under strict instruction to keep my fone off during the holday!

Sean, very envious, enjoy yourself.
Brian, I played the current Carne 18-holer pretty recently and then took the time to see the not-yet-opened new 9. Very impressive indeed. Very impressive. Well done Ally and the folk at Carne. Highly recommended.

I got all excited, Sean, but the dates don't match. I'm there Aug 9-11. Thinking of trying to sort West Cornwall Saturday morning.

I fancy some golf in Cornwall.

Unfortunately, I can't swing it.

Has anyone done a profile of Lelant (West Cornwall) on GCA?  Played it as a kid but can't remember much other than the church on the first tee shot.

I want to get back there (this pic reminds me a bit of #9 at St Enodoc):

Perranporth-the mini Ballybunion
definite sub 6500 candidate

I'll be in the UK that week but in Southport

Sean has, but unfortunately the pictures are now gone.

Paul,

My plan is to play West Cornwall when I'm down there. Will get some pics and report back.

Hi Sean , would love to meet up for a game at a latter date. Im in Oxford which i don't think is to far away. Never played Cleve Hill but enjoyed Painswick and Minchinhampton old. Im off to Aberdeen in September and would like to pick your brains about a few courses if you don't mind.
Thanks Paul
