Boiling Springs Golf Club Update
« on: July 08, 2013, 12:47:29 PM »
I was in Oklahoma this last week and took a few photos of the progress at Boiling Springs.  The course should be open in early August and is quite unique for the area.  Although it is a little remote, the cost will be very affordable and it is worth the drive to enjoy a round or two.

Great photos.  I love the look of the bunkering!

Great looking course.  How is it playing a year in?
The trouble with modern equipment and distance—and I don't see anyone pointing this out—is that it robs from the player's experience. - Mickey Wright

Looks good Jeff! Can´t wait to see what you do with Squaw Creek when they get the wáter. It has a good design foundation. I was Superintendent there many years ago right out of college. My daughter lives in Aledo, so when it gets off the ground, hopefully we can meet there and walk it together. i told Lynn it makes it a lot of sence switching 11 and 12, even better if you get some fill from deeping the lake and making the overall área wider. Good luck!
