For those NorCal golfers who were not aware, the Trans-Mississippi Amateur will be played next week at the Meadow Club. The event is 4 rounds of strokeplay.

I presume spectators are welcome, which is a nice way to see a very nice course.

Will be interesting to me what the scores are. I know Cal hosts a tournament there most years. How do the elite amateur players fair these days? I played a USGA Am qualifier there in the late 90's and I think even par made it.

Just looked it up and the winner of Cal hosted MacKenzie Invitational was -15 over three rounds with 14th place three under.

I am going to out-link David T (no mean feat) with this link, that includes starting times and detailed tourney information.

David, Rather than start a new topic, I thought I would piggyback your thread for everyone's edification.
