I'm adding Argentina to my life bucket list... Never mind the golf....
I don't want to thread jack but it is a fascinating country, that I must go back to. There is a really interesting mix of European cultures, the ones you expect like Spanish and Italian and the ones you don't like the German/Swiss log cabins in Bariloche. I'm told there is still a village in the pampas (?) thats prominent language is still Welsh! I was surprised by the amount of British influence you could feel around too, the clubhouses shown are obvious examples as already pointed out.
The lifestyle of football, steak, more steak, red wine, more football, more red wine, staying out till sunrise and then coffee and pastries to wake up to isn't too bad either, add in a Mackenzie course and your bound to have a good time.
Buenos Aires is quite possibly my favourite city in the world, I will try to stop by on my way down to Patagonia one day, Torres Del Paine is calling me.
