I think the topic says it all -- what course are you looking to play for the first time this year?

For me, it's Canterbury. I grew up not far from Cleveland, but I've never been to Canterbury. I'm looking to change that soon.

I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Dismal uno y dos.  5th major here I come.  I may also sneak over to Sand Hills if I can talk my way on.

OK, that is three courses.  Forgive me.

The only way of really finding out a man's true character is to play golf with him. In no other walk of life does the cloven hoof so quickly display itself.

Have some good possibles lined up... I hope:

CC of York, Scranton, Baltimore Five Farms, Rolling Green and the Dixie Cup courses of Dormie Club, Tobacco Road and possibly Southern Pines.

These will make a great year for first-plays if they all happen.

Camargo is at the top of my list this year...the more I hear about it, the more I want to see it, especially having only played a couple of Raynor courses.

New for '24: Monifieth x2, Montrose x2, Panmure, Carnoustie x3, Scotscraig, Kingsbarns, Elie, Dumbarnie, Lundin, Belvedere, The Loop x2, Forest Dunes, Arcadia Bluffs x2, Kapalua Plantation, Windsong Farm, Minikahda...

I also forgot about Kingsley Club. And of course there are others that are more in the "hope" category -- Country Club (Pepper Pike), Camargo and Fox Chapel (never have played a Raynor yet, so I might as well hope).

I have never seen or played Oakmont (three invites either cancelled or turned down for work).
I have a game arranged with a close friend in June.

With every golf development bubble, the end was unexpected and brutal....

Really looking forward to playing Deal for the first time in July  :)

I think Walter Travis greens are just about the best out there and every since I saw this land formation on Ran's review, Ekwanok has been high on the list. My wife and I have shifted at least part of summer vacations away from the beach and have now fallen in love with Manchester, Vermont.

Equinox is an very good resort course routing, but the changing of the greens over the years is a little sad.

Ekwanok seems very pure, peaceful, and simple.

Tentative invite to Shinnecock, lighting novena candles currently.
We have a pool and a pond, the pond would be good for you.
